Álvaro de Matos Lemos

Álvaro was born on January 14th, 1952 in Juiz de Fora, MG.  Álvaro's father was Francisco Adauto Tostes Lemos  and his mother was Eneyda da Costa Mattos.  His paternal grandparents were Álvaro Coelho de Andrade Lemos and Maria das Dores Sobreira Tostes; his maternal grandparents were Nicácio da Costa Matos  and Maria Nicolina de Mattos. He had a brother and three sisters, named Pardal, Vera Lúcia, Elizabeth and Patrícia.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died from cancer, Teve um tumor no cerébro, operou e sua situação de saúde degradou muito em decorrencia da cirurgia realizada em São Paulo, Hospital da Beneficiência Portuguesa, at the age of 52 on April 11th, 2004 in Juiz de Fora, MG.  He was buried on Cemitério Jardim da Saudade, Juiz de Fora .¹ 

They had two daughters named Juliana and Ana Carolina.
