Vera Maria de Lima Costa 
Vera Maria's father was Maria das Mercês de Lima and her mother was Alvaro Artur de Andrade Costa. Her paternal grandparents were Antônio Augusto de Lima and Vera Monteiro de Barros Suckow. She had four brothers and a sister, named Geraldo Maria, Alvaro José, Luiz Gonzaga, Francisco de Paula and Maria de Lourdes.
