Elizabeth was born on July 21st, 1745 in Kirtling, Cambridgeshire, , England.  Elizabeth's father is Henry PLEDGER.  Her paternal grandparents were William Pledger and Martha BUNTING. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Thomas, thomas, William, robert, Robert, john, john, eliz abeth and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 27 in 1772.
