Luisa's father is Antonio Carlos Rodrigues and her mother is Maria Morato Ferraz de Barros.  Her maternal grandparents were Manuel Morato de Barros and Gertrudes Ferraz. She has three brothers and three sisters, named Carlos, Virgilio, Augusto, Julia, Maria and Carolina.
