Pau was born on March 26th, 1791 in Montferri.  Pau's father was Benet Colet Esplugues and his mother is Magina Ferrer.  His paternal grandparents were Lluis Colet and Gertrudis Esplugues Calvet. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Lluis, Pere, Josep, Maria, Rosa and Teresa.  Pau is no longer alive.
