Pere was born in 1832 in El Montmell. Pere's father was Francisco Colet Porta and his mother is Magdalena Bergalló. His paternal grandfather was Pau Colet Giró and his paternal grandmother is Francesca Porta. He had four brothers and a sister, named Josep, Jaume, Pau, Simeon and Rosa. Pere is no longer alive.-
