Pau was born in 1851 in Marmellar. Pau's father was Josefa Colet Casanoves and his mother is Pau Hurpinell.  His paternal grandparents were Magí Colet Soler and Pelegrina Casanoves Vidal.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 23 in 1874 in Marmellar.
