Magí was born on January 25th, 1771 in Marmellar.  Magí's father is Joan Colet Tomas and his mother was Margarida Soler Romagosa.  His paternal grandfather is Anton Colet and his paternal grandmother was Teresa Tomas. He had a brother named Josep.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 87 on January 25th, 1858 in Marmellar.
