Tamar was born in 1815 in Walsgrave on Sowe, Warwickshire, , England.  Tamar's father was Joseph Tuckey and her mother was Sophia West.  Her paternal grandparents are Thomas Tuckey and Rebecca Philips. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Christopher, John, George, William, Rebecca, Mary and Sophia.  She was the third oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 36 on April 13th, 1851 in , Warwickshire, , England.
