Rosalie Ann was born on March 29th, 1850 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Rosalie Ann's father was George Thorne and her mother was Elizabeth Anne Bisdee. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Thorne and Maria Nuttall ; her maternal grandparents were John Bisdee and Ann Green. She had four brothers and five sisters, named George, Theodore Bisdee, Walter Allan, Arthur Edward, Annie Bisdee, Gertrude Mary, Emily Nuttall, Melina Julia and Ellen Elizabeth. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 77 on May 19th, 1927 in Parramatta,Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.-
