George Singleton 
George was born in 1798. George's father was John Singleton and his mother was Elizabeth Ion. His paternal grandparents were William Singleton and Margaret Danson; his maternal grandparents were Unknown Ion and Isabel Unknown. He had five brothers and five sisters, named James Danson, John, William, David, Thomas, Isabella, Margaret, Betty, Mary and Ann. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.-
