Matthew Read

Matthew was born in 1838 in Bethnal Green, Middlesex, England.  Matthew's father was John Read and his mother was Elizabeth Unknown. He had a brother and four sisters, named William, Caroline, Susanah, Susan and Mary.  He was the third oldest of the six children.
