John Mackie

John was born on February 18th, 1751 in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland.  John's father was John Mackie and his mother was Agnes  Black  (Blair).  His paternal grandparents were John Mackie and Margaret Reid. He had a brother and three sisters, named James, Isabel , Mary and Agnes.  He was the oldest of the five children.
