Janet Lindsay

Janet was born on June 25th, 1866 in Old Monkland, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Janet's father was David Lindsay and her mother was Agnes Thom. Her paternal grandparents were John Lindsay and Agnes Bowman; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Thom and Jane Russel. She had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Joseph, George Brown, David, James, Robert, Jane Murray Russell, Agnes Bowman and Barbara Russell. She was the second youngest of the ten children.
