Dorothy Lillyman 
Dorothy was born on January 22nd, 1796 in Sunderland, Durham, England and her baptism took place there on June 12th, 1796. Dorothy's father was John Lillyman and her mother was Sarah Powell. She was an only child. She died at the age of 79 in April 1875 in Hartlepool, Durham, England. She was buried on April 25th, 1875 in St Hilda's Churchyard, Hartlepool.General Notes
1841 Census shows her in Henry Street, Hartlepool as a widow, of independent means, with six children who were all born in Sunderland. Also in the house were three Sarah Towells - her daughter, granddaughter and daughter-in-law.
1851 Census shows her as a "small grocer", living at 1 George Street, Hartlepool, with only Isabella and George remaining at home.
1861 Census shows her still living at George Street (number ??) with George, his wife Christiana, and granddaughter Emily.
1871 Census shows her living alone at 29 George Street, aged 77.
NBI shows her death and burial in April 1875 (in St Hilda's churchyard).
