Sarah Powell 
General Notes
May have been Sarah "Towell", as Towell appears to be a Devonian name (daughter Charlotte was born there), and a flowery "T" in the parish register could easily be mis-transcribed as a "P". It is also very strange (or extremely coincidental) that two of her granddaughters married "Towells" in 1839 in Hartlepool!
Apparently living in Stoke Damerel (now Devonport, Plymouth) when first child Charlotte was born in 1785, then moved to Sunderland before 1790.
