Marion was born on August 23rd, 1696 in Kinglassie, Fifeshire, Scotland. Marion's father was George Ireland and her mother was Marie Chrystie.  Her maternal grandparents were James Chrystie and Allison Currer. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, George, James, David, John, Janet and Euphan.  She died at the age of 68 on January 29th, 1765 in Kinglassie, Fifeshire, Scotland.
