John Horn 
John was born on July 16th, 1772 in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland. John's father was Andrew Horn and his mother was Elizabeth Ireland. His paternal grandparents were John Horn and Janet Couston; his maternal grandparents were John Ireland and Elizabeth Christie. He had three brothers and five sisters, named James, Peter, Andrew, Janet, Elizabeth, Katherine, Elizabeth and Jean. He was the second oldest of the nine children.-
