Jean Horn 
Jean was born on July 5th, 1789 in South Leith, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. Jean's father was Andrew Horn and her mother was Elizabeth Ireland. Her paternal grandparents were John Horn and Janet Couston; her maternal grandparents were John Ireland and Elizabeth Christie. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John, James, Peter, Andrew, Janet, Elizabeth, Katherine and Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the nine children.-
