David Gray

David was born in 1656 in Melville, Lasswade, Midlothian, Scotland and his baptism took place there on March 19th, 1656.  David's father was Abraham (Abraham Gray The Elder) Gray and his mother was Elspet Huntar.  His paternal grandparents were Alexander or William Gray and Unknown. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named William, Alexander, Alexander, Abraham Gray The Younger, Robert, James, James, James, Janet, Margaret and Eupham.  He was the fifth youngest of the twelve children.
