Margaret's father was Peter Grant and her mother was Margaret Currie.  Her paternal grandparents were Unknown Grant and Unknown. She had a brother and two sisters, named Peter, Jane and Janet.  She was the second oldest of the four children.  She died at the age of 71 on November 4th, 1912 in Leslie, Fife, Scotland.
