Agnes Elder

Agnes was born in January 1782 in Lasswade, Midlothian, Scotland.  Agnes' father was John (or William) and her mother was Agnes Hurd.  Her maternal grandparents were JohnHerd and MargaretLitster. She had a brother and two sisters, named John, Margaret and Isobel.  She was the second youngest of the four children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named John and Catherine.
