John Delgaty 
John was born on June 3rd, 1792 in Ayton, Berwickshire, Scotland. John's father was James Delgaty and his mother was Margaret White. His maternal grandparents were Alexander White and Margaret Johnston. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, William , James, Robert, Joseph, James, Margaret, Anne and Anne.
