Isabel was born in 1410 in Hooton, Cheshire, England. Isabel's father was Sir William De Stanley and her mother was Margaret (Blanche) Anderne. Her paternal grandparents were William De Stanley and Margaret De Hooton. She had two brothers and three sisters, named William, George, Catherine, Elizabeth and Margery.-
