David Beath 
David was born on October 9th, 1796 in Leslie, Fifeshire, Scotland. David's father was John Beath and his mother was Elizabeth Lundie. His paternal grandparents were David Beath and Catherine Christie; his maternal grandparents were Walter Lundie and Elizabeth Paterson. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Andrew, Elizabeth and Isabel. He was the third oldest of the five children.-
