Emma Balmer 
Emma was born on September 7th, 1833 in Huntingdon, Cambridge, England.1 Emma's father was James Balmer and her mother was Elizabeth Barnard. Her paternal grandparents were John Balmer and Elizabeth Unknown. She had five brothers and a sister, named James Bernard, William George (S-O James), Philip B, George Hawks, Frederick (S-O James) and Selina Bernard (Barnard). She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 67 on December 30th, 1900 in Toronto Junction, Ontario, Canada. She was buried in St. George's On The Hill Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.1 1 -
