Catherine Arbuthnott 
Catherine was born about 1716 in Arbuthnott, Kincardineshire, Scotland. Catherine's father was Hon. John Arbuthnott and her mother was Margaret Falconer . Her paternal grandparents were Sir Robert Arbuthnott (2nd Viscount of Arbuthnott, 2nd Lord Inverbervie) and Catherine Gordon; her maternal grandparents were Sir James Falconer of Pheldo and Elizabeth Trent. She had three brothers and eight sisters, named James, John, Thomas, Elizabeth, Margaret, Jean, Anne, Katharine, Mary, Thomas and Jean. She was the youngest of the twelve children. She died on January 28th, 1775.-
