Louisa Waelz (Renke) (Welz)

Louisa was born on August 17th, 1863 in Josephdorf, Bessarabia, Russia (now Ukraine).¹

Louisa's father was Gottlieb Waelz and her mother was Anna Justina Sprecher (Waelz). Her paternal grandparents were Martin Welz and Christina Dekowsky (Welz, Heiss); her maternal grandparents were Gottfried Sprecher and Anna Katharina Sokolosky (Sprecher). She had four brothers and a sister, named Johann, Gottlieb, Jakob, Jacob and Christina. She was the youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 74 on July 25th, 1938 in Parkston, Hutchinson County, South Dakota, USA.¹
