Sahra's father was Samuel Sprecher and her mother was Karolina Raugust (Sprecher). Her paternal grandparents were Christian Albrecht Sprecher and Carolina Fischer (Sprecher). She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Gottfried, Johann, Reinhold, Nathaniel, Gottfried, Samuel, Michael, Simona, Salomea, Sarah and Paulina. She was the third oldest of the twelve children.
