Moses was born on August 29th, 1758 in Richland Township, Bucks county, Pennsylvania, USA.1   Moses' father was Samuel Shaw Sr. and his mother was Mary Nixon (Shaw).  His paternal grandparents were Abraham Shaw and Deborah ? (Shaw); his maternal grandparents were William Nixon and Mary Pettit (Nixon). He had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Joseph, William, Samuel, Hannah and Mary.  He was the youngest of the seven known children.  He died at the age of 68 on September 6th, 1826 in Richland Township, Bucks county, Pennsylvania, USA.1

Moses and Mary were married in a religious & civil ceremony on June 1st, 1780 in Richland Township, Bucks county, Pennsylvania, USA.1   The family line is yet to be completed.
