Ida was born on July 28th, 1873 in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, USA.1   Ida's father was Romanus Pyle and her mother was Lucinda Lee Pletcher (Pyle). She had a brother and three sisters, named Irvin, Magdalena, Amanda and Sarah.  She was the second oldest of the five known children.  She died at the age of 81 on July 27th, 1955.1

Ida and Samuel were married in a religious & civil ceremony.1   The family line is yet to be completed.
