Amanda was born on April 29th, 1877 in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, USA.1   Amanda's father was Romanus Pyle and her mother was Lucinda Lee Pletcher (Pyle). She had a brother and three sisters, named Irvin, Magdalena, Ida and Sarah.  She was the third oldest of the five known children.  She died at the age of 80 on December 5th, 1957 in Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, USA.1

Amanda and Norval were married in a religious & civil ceremony on June 22nd, 1899 in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, USA.1   The family line is yet to be completed.
