Isolina was born in 1857 in Hammondville, Bullskin township, Fayette County,  Pennsylvania, USA.1  Isolina's father was Henry Hebenthal and her mother was Elizabeth B Slonecker (Hebenthal).  Her paternal grandparents were John ? Hebenthal and Margaret ? ? (Hebenthal); her maternal grandparents were Adam Slonecker and Nancy Bechtell (Slonecker). She had four brothers and three sisters, named David, George, Charles, Frank, Lenora, Nanabel and Margaret.  She was the oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 24 in 1881.  She was buried at the Fairview Community Church Cemetery, Bullskin Twp., Fayette County, Pennsylvania, USA.

Isolina and James were married in a religious & civil ceremony.  They had a daughter named Lily.
