Frederick Quilter 
Frederick was born in 1840 in Seaham Harbour, Co Durham.1 Frederick's father was Frederick Quilter and his mother was Isabella Hunter. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Jackson Quilter and Martha Guttree; his maternal grandparents were Robert Haswell Hunter and Hannah Jane Ford. He had a brother and four sisters, named Robert, Martha, Matilda, Mary and Isabella. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 50 in 1890 in Easington, Co Durham.-
