Joseph Mountain

Joseph was born in 1765 in Otley, Yorkshire and his baptism took place there on November 17th, 1765.  Joseph's father was Francis Mountaine and his mother was Mary Bodes.  His paternal grandparents were Francis Mountaine and Margaret Dunwell. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Francis, Francis, John, Mary and Issabelah.  He was the second youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 22 in April 1787 in Otley, Yorkshire.¹
