Edward Harper

Edward was born in 1799 in Cakemore, Worcestershire and his christening took place on March 10th, 1799 at St Johns, Halesowen, Worcestershire.¹   Edward's father was Joseph Harper and his mother was Hannah Clift.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Harper and Sarah Forest; his maternal grandparents were James Clift and Ann Smith. He had two brothers and a sister, named William, James and Ann.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 78 in 1877 in Upper Holt Farm, Cakemore, Worcestershire.  He was buried on March 17th, 1877.
