David Henry Storey

David was born in 1856 in Leeds, Yorkshire.¹   David's father was David Storey and his mother was Maria Pickles.  His paternal grandparents were John Storey and Mary; his maternal grandfather was Jonathan Pickles. He had two brothers and a sister, named Joseph, John and Sarah.  He was the youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named George, Mary, Emmeline and Elizabeth.
