William Roberts 
William was born on September 24th, 1797 in Hunslet, Leeds, Yorkshire.1 William's father was Samuel Roberts and his mother was Ann King. His paternal grandparents were John Roberts and Mary Nicolson. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John, James, Thomas, Mary, Hannah, Esther, Sarah and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 17 in 1814.1 -
