Thomas Raine 
Thomas was born in 1817 in Middleton, Teesdale, Co Durham and his baptism took place there on August 31st, 1817.1 Thomas' father was John Raine and his mother was Mary Bainbridge. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Raine and Margaret Gibson. He had a brother and five sisters, named William, Margaret, Mary, Mary, Mary and Ann. He was the second oldest of the seven children.
