Marcus Moses was born in 1901.  Marcus Moses' father was Izak (Uncle) Eisig Kimmelheim  and his mother was Frida (Tante) Kimmelheim  (Schereckinger).  His paternal grandparents are Yosef Kimmelheim  and Shoshana Kimmelheim ; his maternal grandfather was Meir Schreckinger  and his maternal grandmother is Pearl Lea Screckinger  (Hallamann). He had a brother and two sisters, named Leon, Helena and Zipora.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died due to a childhood disease at the age of 1 in 1902 in Drohobycz.
