Zipora was born on June 4th, 1924 in Vienna, austria.  Zipora's father was Izak (Uncle) Eisig Kimmelheim  and her mother was Frida (Tante) Kimmelheim  (Schereckinger).  Her paternal grandparents are Yosef Kimmelheim  and Shoshana Kimmelheim ; her maternal grandfather was Meir Schreckinger  and her maternal grandmother is Pearl Lea Screckinger  (Hallamann). She had two brothers and a sister, named Marcus Moses, Leon and Helena.  She is the youngest of the four children.
