Dror was born on June 3rd, 1983. Dror's father is Dov Granot (Gertel) and his mother is Hanna Granot (Gertel Fuchs). His paternal grandfather was Jacob Gertel and his paternal grandmother is Yehudit Gertel (Weitzman); his maternal grandparents were Shlomo Yacov Fuchs and Miriam (Mania) Fuchs (Kestenbaum). He had two sisters named Efrat and Einat. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 19 on January 31st, 2003.
