Miriam, known as Mania, was born on June 27th, 1912 in Drohobycz. Mania's father was Nachman Kimmelheim Kestenbaum and her mother was Sheindel Hanna  Kestenbaum Meir.  Her paternal grandparents are Yosef Kimmelheim  and Shoshana Kimmelheim ; her maternal grandparents were Moses Eliezer Kestenbaum and Zisel Meir. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Avraham Aharon, Leib, Eliasz, Isaac, Zipora, Debora and Mina.  She was the youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 82 on June 5th, 1995 in Kfar Saba.
