Alice's father was William WOODHOUSE and her mother was Emma COTTON. She had two brothers and five sisters, named John, John, Lucy, Emma, Florence, Rose and Ada.  She was the second youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 45 in 1948 in West Bromwich, Stafford.¹
