Ann was born in 1860.  Ann's father was George SHILTON and her mother was Ann ROSE.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas SHILTON and Ann HARRIS. She had five brothers and a sister, named George, Henry, Joseph, Ernest, Arthur and Esther.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.
