Sarah Ann JAYES

Sarah was born on January 30th, 1891 in Blaby, Leicestershire.¹

- Sarah Ann's birth was registered in the Mar Qtr 1891 (7a 57 or 67)

Sarah's father was George JAYES and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth HALLAS. She had six brothers and a sister, named Thomas, James, Herman, John, George, Oscar and Mary. She was the seventh oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 39 on November 16th, 1930 in 52 College Street, Nuneaton, Warwickshire.¹

Death Notes
- At the time of Sarah's death she was with a G.W. ALLEN at 52 College Street, Nuneaton although she lived at 16 Wilson Avenue, Exhall, Foleshill.
  The cause of death on her certificate reads:- Acute nephritis with septicaemia connected with pregnancy and placenta previa (Delivered Nov 4th).
  So it seems she died 12 days after giving birth.
