Henry was born on January 11th, 1909 in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.1  Henry's father was Frederick CHINNER and his mother was Charlotte PARDINGTON.  His paternal grandparents were Clement CHINNER and Mary Ann DALE; his maternal grandparents were Jonathan PARDINGTON and Harriett WEST. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Frederick, Ernest, Rose and Amy.  He was the second youngest of the five children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named James, Sylvia and Mary.  He died at the age of 78 on March 29th, 1987 in Moseley, Birmingham, Warwickshire.2
