Charles Leigh

Charles was born in March 1837.  Charles' father was John Belcher and his mother was Mary Anne Leigh.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Belcher and Ann Swallow; his maternal grandparents were John Leigh and Sarah Robinson. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, John , Thomas, George, Anne, Sarah, Mary, Eliza and Mary.  He was the youngest of the ten children.
