Петр was born on August 23rd, 1876.  Петр's father was Павел Макариев Песоцкий and his mother was Анна Евменова (Песоцкая).  His paternal grandparents were Макарий Никитин Песоцкий and Ирина Стефанова Сидоренко (Песоцкая). He had two brothers and four sisters, named Илларион, Филип, Матрона, София, Агриппина  and Иоанн.  He was the oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named Стефан.
