Jeanne Préjean

Jeanne was born in 1743 in Port Royal, Acadia, Nova Scotia, Canada. Jeanne's father was Nicolas Préjean and her mother was Marguerite Broussard. Her paternal grandparents were Jean Préjean (dit Le Breton) and Andrée Marguerite Savoie; her maternal grandparents were Pierre Broussard and Marguerite Bourg. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Louison, Gabriel, Marie, Rose and Cecile. She was the third oldest of the six children. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Jean, Louis, Charles and Anne.
